Indians signing Raburn was not smart either.

You mean the two-year, $5MM contract the Indians gave Raburn in 2013?

Here, Dougy, stop grasping, just take one:

Give Vice a break...it must be hard to concentrate when you have a beautiful Portuguese Mexican wife. (Wasn't she a Miss Universe contestant? Or was she a Marine? It got confusing.)

And just for good measure:

Cespedes Slash Lines

The tardation is strong in this one, folks!

I love having Miller as a weapon for Francona- he has used him in such a multitude of ways already.

Having Miller/Allen/Shaw at the back end, -and the Indians rotation is a pretty nasty combination.

I know its WAY WAY WAY WAY to early to worry about next year- but Santana and Napoli- most of our power - are both FA's. I wonder - at age 34- what type of contract Nap would need to stay...2 years 28? Santana as well I would like them to bring back...

Jose Ramirez has been ripping it up too....guy has been amazing this year. Ramirez/Lindor/Kipnis is a damn good defensive infield- and every one of those guys can handle a bat too.
Ramirez doesn't get the attention he deserves imo. Kid can play.

Red Sox asked the Tigers if we could move the start time on Thursday game from 1:05 to 7:05. Detroit said.......no.

Screw you Dombrowski. Like the Tigers would do a favor for the team they are chasing in the wild card.:L

From what I understand...Thursday is "Tool and Die Day" at the stadium. I guess the Tiger front office was "ascared" they would upset the participants. By 7:05, doug and all his cronies would be drunk and puking on the Willie Horton statue. As their banner will read: Tool and Die Mackers Haf Harts

I'm guessing that you have really, really fucked up dreams, so I'm going with Jimbo Khaki Pants and the Michigan Wolverines. And when the game's over, the two teams will go to the Penn State showers to "clean up" with the Red Wings.

Wow, is there anything else you'd like to insult? Does an overzealous fan get to you that much?

From September 16th to the 29th the Indians and Tigers play 7 times.

Should be some fun baseball.

Those are must wins for the Tigers, no so much for the Indians (the spoils of winning). Detroit should be pretty well healthy (and rested), so we will have no excuses.

if Clveland can get just 3 of those games they should be in great shape.

So, you're assuming they're going 'damn the torpedos' in regards to Fulmer's innings?

Hamels statline:
7 IP, 14 hits allowed, 3 walks, 5 K, 2 runs allowed

The Tigers managed to get three people thrown out on the bases in that game. They have got to be one of the worst baserunning teams in the league, and their 3B coach doesn't help, either.

Detroit was fortunate that TX could only manage 2 hits in 7 innings off Boyd.

OK doug, a question for you and your little boyfriend Ned. Detroit does not play Cleveland until mid-September (around the 15th I think). Do you think Fulmer will be available to start any of those games? Perhaps one in the first three games series? Or will he be shut down by then. Or will Detroit say, "the hell with the future" and pitch Fulmer all season.
If you want, I could crunch the numbers for you doug...but we all know you don't give a crap about statistics.

Indians have the better team this year dude....they did before the deadline- and then they got the biggest thing they were missing- a dominant lefty reliever.

Does it bother you that Tyler Naquin and Francisco Lindor will be kicking the Tigers ass for the better part of the next decade?

USUALLY - a 20% increase is the rule of thumb for a starter....

If the Tigers are in it- and Zimm is still hurt/sucking, I could see them really pushing Fullmer though.

The Indians pitching is just so much better than the Tigers- and the Indians hitting has been very very good. With all the Tigers injuries/ total crap performance by Upton i think its gonna be very difficult to catch the Tribe.

I think your right ... difficult but not impossible. If you are unable to put us away, we just might come back and bite you.
