I hate most e'rything Astros.

Go Mariners! Lol

Texas just got a lot better.

Wish they still had Ron Washington. Give that guy a bag of sunflower seeds and he looks like a coke-fueled, afroed, walking chipper shredder. It was amazing to watch.

It's not what you do, bronco, it's how you do it.

Honestly, I think the biggest fucktards in this whole mess (in fucktarded order are): 1) Lucroy's agent 2) Brewers front office, and 3) dougplayer.
He had Detroit and Cleveland among his 8 no trade teams for a reason. Whatever that reason is, idk.

Woulda waived it for a hefty raise or the voiding of next years deal, maybe.

Brewers and Indians wasted a lot of time by not just talking to Lucroy first imo. You guys prolly lucked out by not mortgaging the future for a 30 year old catcher who isn't exactly reshaping a lineup anyway.

I know I didn't want Detroit to go after him.

Lucroy ain't no dummy. Cleveland? ? Nope. Ain't going there. Mistake by the lake.
Plus he saw the downward spiral that is going on. He didn't want no part of that...just saying

It was his "first" time though. Lol

(I'm sure a lot of guys wait till their 50's to do coke.)

I thought you didn't live in the past, doug? :pound:
Iffy. You cry if tigers are not buyers. You have to give up something for some thing. Last year they were sellers. It's how the game is played rookie

Doug, tell us how the Tigers didn't need Andrew Miller

That is the point, driftwood! The Tigers have nothing to trade. DD wiped out the minor league system.

Absolutely, but it's important to note that MLB's collective bargaining agreement forbade the Indians from talking directly to Lucroy - that's tampering. I wouldn't say the Indians front office is without blame, but I think the lion share of it has to go to the Brewers FO.

You guys prolly lucked out by not mortgaging the future for a 30 year old catcher who isn't exactly reshaping a lineup anyway.

I'm not sure it would have been mortgaging the future, but either way, when you're a small market team and you have a shot at a Championship, you go all in.

The Indians' have gotten the least production in the majors from C this year. Lucroy, as the #2 hitting catcher in baseball this year, would have been a massive upgrade to the lineup.

Max Keplers balls are firmly entrenched in the metaphorical mouth of the Cleveland Indians organization

I think that might've been one of the most dominant games a pitcher has had against any one team all year on a pitch by pitch basis.

The Rays lineup whiffs a lot. #2 in the AL in Ks, behind only Houston. Rookie Michael Fulmer has had 11 and 10 K games against them.

Still, 16 strikeouts and ONE HIT over 8 innings is pretty damn dominant.

So Salazar (and the AL's best pitching staff) gets LIT UP by the Twins to the tune of 12 runs.

News this AM is that Salazar is headed for a "precautionary" MRI on his elbow.

Doodie.
