Lots of reasons being put forth why he vetoed trade. Even the fear of not being able to beat out Yan Gomez next year. I am sure it all came down to $$$$, in some way or another.

We all know Yan Gomes is a bum.

Could be he didn't want Mike Napolis thumb in his wife's bum.

Is it me, or is Pelfrey turning into an acceptable #5 guy in the rotation. At least he has moved ahead of Sanchez. Even if Norris and Boyd work their way into full time spots in the rotation....Fulmer may be "cut off" sometime in September.

Pelfrey got out of some jams today. And only made it thru five.

Keuchel left a few out over the plate. He prolly should have given up more really. (Even though Detroit has 7 runs on 7 hits.) Upton, Kinsler and Martinez all got under balls I thought might get out right off the bat.

He's been reliably decent lately.

If Norris and Boyd can stay healthy and somewhat dependable(fingers crossed) Fulmer could use a skipped start or two to save his arm.

Tigers are playing very well right now. They still need to add a quality relief pitcher and (depending on the health of Norris and Zimmermann) a starting pitcher. Can't expect much as the team's minor league system is empty....but there must be someone they could get that has more talent than Mark Lowe or any of several sub-par Tiger relief pitchers.

I do t want to discredit what he did last year, going deep into games and being super consistent. But I felt like he got awarded for Wins.

His control was a bit off today, cost him.
