Is there statcast on who is the fastest pure runner in the game. The one's that come to mind are Billy Hamilton, Billy Burns and Mike Trout. Watch this video and see if this passes the eye test for you. I would like to see the official statcast however. Keep in mind he Gore never bats and is simply there as a pinch run specialist which could come in really handy for a contender. I hope one day he develops into a player.

I give you the AL Central All-Star team the way I see it based solely on player performances in April of this year. The past doesn't weigh in much here. I did this for the AL East and AL West already. Feel free to critique, agree, disagree or ignore, whatever. I put some thought into this. If I get a good response I will do this every month, so we'll see how it goes.

Prince fielder was a good base runner...for a fat guy.

Sorry doug. Ever since Detroit traded future All Star, Hernan Perez....it has been hard to jump on the Tiger bandwagon. Fortunately, a Miami sports writer has determined that Mexican native Dixon Machado is the next All Star middle infielder for the Tigers, moving Iglesias to 2B next year.
