Tough week for D-Troit sports. Red Wings bounced out of the NHL playoffs in the first round, Tigers go 1-5 including a sweep at home by the Indians (landing them closer to the AL Central basement than the top), and the Pistons are just hours away from being swept out of the NBA playoffs by the Cavs.

Red Wings bounced out of the NHL playoffs in the first round, Tigers go 1-5 including a sweep at home by the Indians (landing them closer to the AL Central basement than the top), and the Pistons are just hours away from being swept out of the NBA playoffs by the Cavs.

Michigan teams are 1-11 in the postseason so far this year.

No, UM fans, the play-in game in the tournament doesn't count.

Doug, I don't follow pro basketball. Have the Pistons been better than the Cleveland Cavaliers over the last 5 or 6 years? I know Clev was better this year.
As for the past in baseball, I know the Tigers handle the Tribe pretty well....BUT...they just swept the Tigers AT HOME! And I guess NOW matters more than last year, doesn't it?
