Doug - that is what it is called! The Wings lost, but still made the playoffs....they "backed in". But I guess that is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, huh? It is a good thing that Detroit has one very successful sports franchise in the Red Wings. They make up for that national embarrassment called the Detroit Lions.
