Looking at Fangraph, they have an outfield of Upton, Gose, and JD Martinez being all over the board. Surprisingly, JD's numbers tended to be the highest (poor range however) with Upton being a little below average and Gose being near the bottom. I guess that is why I don't put much faith in Fielding metrics. Watching JD Martinez play right field, you swear you are watching the younger brother of Adam Dunn. And Upton....it all depends on when you see him. One minute he is making a great grab near the wall or gunning a runner out at third...the next a ball is bouncing five feet in front of him while he is standing still or is rolling between his legs. Gose? Defensive wizard? Or over-hyped bum?

Vice.....didn't you rank Rajai Davis as an All-Star when he was a Tiger?

Starting pitching vs. Offense and bullpen....

both team have very good defenses.....

I would think the Royals and Indians will be the teams competing for the Central crown when all is said and done.

I think Carlos Carrasco is gonna have a big time year...and maybe even get a few Cy Young votes. He is poised to really break out I think. Kluber/Carrasco is def one of the better 1-2 punches out there- probably the best in the AL I would think.

Indians are not in Royals league for defense - Royals could have 6 GG this season - Gordon, Cain, Moose, Esky, Hosmer, Perez - They will never let a team win 6 in one season but 4 have already won them, Cain and Moose could be due this year.

Indians look like a cheaper version of the Tigers a few seasons ago, if they can score the runs for their stud starters, they definitely have a better pen than the Tigers did.

Davis was a good player I liked him. Much better than Gose. GOSE is only playing because of his salary. Peanuts. The can never pull the ball. He is a AAA player

Ervin Santana regressed after he left the defense and the K
James Shields regressed after he left the defense and the K AND even switched over to the NL which era should go down.- it went up and his HR rate did as well

The K and the royals defense will improve Kennedy's numbers (like every new pitcher brought in over the last 3 years), keep Edison's about where they are, Ventura will improve just because experience, Duffy/Medlen will be just fine, Young will see an uptick if used too much.....Gee/Minor - one, maybe both, will end up having surprisingly good season as well, in the pen or rotation

After the last two seasons and seeing how this defense has improved all the pitchers coming and going, the only concern like EVERY season, who will blow an arm out. Ventura has the highest odds for me anyway.

Did see the Royals are trying to sign Holland up to a long term deal while he is injured, that would be another nice signing. Glass is definitely doing all the right moves to try and have a shot at keeping the team together beyond 2017

hell, Santana even went to the NL as well and his era went UP...

KC's defense and field are a pitchers dream right now. That's how they can get away with average SP's and will be able to do so til the break up of the band.

Red Wings and Pistons are struggling to hold on to the final playoff spots (Pistons currently failing). Tigers finished last, last season. Lions were 7-9. IS THERE ANY POSSIBLE CHANCE, that you could cheer for the teams of a different city? Any chance at all?

Hunter Dozier, Bubba, Binford, Almonte, Jorge Boni... still enough on the shelf for 1 more year of sale. Didn't like too many 2015 draft picks though and they all aren't starting out well either.
