Meh, offseason has been dead for a while. In the meantime, this runs around in my head whenever I click on this thread.

Fielder? Really? Look at 2015.

Anybody can see that Fielder the past couple of years has declined drastically. We're talking about a guy who from ages 23-28 averaged 38 HR and a 151 OPS+, and nowadays can't hit more than 25 HR nor post a 130 OPS+. His last few seasons has probably been the worst stretch of his career, and he stopped being an elite hitter at age 29.

If anything, Fielder is quite a good example of a slugger who had a steep decline as he got older.

Honestly probably the twins. Until Suzuki sucks so bad that he becomes the rightful back up.

I am pretty sure that hand picked stats will prove that a player with an old English D on his uni will be the best backup catcher in the AL Central. And if they don't - we will switch topics to Bum's personal life.

Nah, I'm not a Saltalamacchia fan ... low BA and not nearly the defensive catcher that Avila was. He has some power and will spell McCann against tough RH starters, which is fine for what the team is paying him (MLB minimum).

All I know is I have boycotted little Caesars for quite some time. More relevant to this thread than Parkville.

I don't know that I've ever had it. I just did a location check on their site - there aren't very many around here and they're all in seedy areas.
