Phils and Sox both won today, so the Giants have a free pass to whoop on the dogs.

Seriously, this may just be the absolute ugliest MLB inning I have ever seen in my life.

And I am not exaggerating.

How in the hell did they not give up any runs in an inning where there were, in essence, 3 errors?

Amazing.

The DP with Pence being out between 2nd and 3rd followed by Span being thrown out at 2nd is a real head scratcher. Giant playing little league baseball. Added to the two errors by Panda and Pence in the top of the inning. What is up with that?

None of us saw this of course, but in 1959 the White Sox scored 11 runs in 1 inning on one hit, and that hit was just a single.

Weirdest Inning Ever? Eleven Runs on One Hit!

The Sox went to the WS for the first time in 40 years that year, that's what people mean when they say the baseball gods are on your side. We had that in 10, 12, and 14. We decidedly did not this year. Looks like Cleveland does this year.

If that was Bruce Bochy managing the A's in that game, he would have burnt through his entire bullpen that inning, and if it was this year's or last year's bullpen, the White Sox inning would still be going today.
