well he ain’t no “Madbum”

He’s been one of the best Giants in June
Right now he looks like an upgrade over the Korean dude
I think Lee can play. I believe he was the MVP two years ago in the Korean League? He broke his leg last year and had a season ending injury this year. He can't stay healthy

Wrong player. Ramos’ slump wasn’t nearly that bad
Are you sure? I thought I heard the announcer say in the Dodgers series that he had gone 5 for 50 when he came to bat and got a Sacrifice Fly. Because he made the point that, despite the slump, Ramos was still contributing.

He did go into yesterday's game on a 5 for 41 slump but the day before that slump started he went 9 for 19. Maybe the announcer was exaggerating.

Or perhaps I misheard it. I know a lot of "facts" that turn out not to be facts.

People can we give it up for Vogelsong II with his first ML win? He might be a legit starter

Way too early to know but very promising starts

Just saw the highlights (didn't get to watch the game except checking scores)

Ramos home run was extreme opposite field he barely got into it and it surprised him when it went out. That dude is strong AF. I think he's the real deal guys, first home grown impact outfielder since...like, Chili Davis? <----What a great sports name by the way

Does Ahmed's defense, paired with his .603 OPS, really provide an advantage over Luciano (or Schmitt, or Wisely, or Fitzgerald)?
Luciano cannot play SS in the majors. Not without a lt of work in the minors. But if he hasn’t gotten there after the time he already had as a pro, I don’t expect him to suddenly figure it out.

As I watched that HR, all I could think was that we finally have the right-handed bat that can get a splash hit.

If that is case, why are the Giants still adamant about him playing shortstop. He's gotten a little time in at 2nd base in AAA but that is about it. Wouldn't you think that they'd see that he needs to be moved?

I know that Ahmed has really good defensive skills, but my question can be applied to Schmitt, Wisely or Fitzgerald as well. Schmitt hasn't hit much in the big leagues but he has a good glove. His numbers are still slightly better than Ahmed's. I get that Wisely and Fitzgerald are a step down defensively, but does their bats make up for the difference? Just not sure why Ahmed is still on this team.
