Luciano cannot play SS in the majors. Not without a lt of work in the minors. But if he hasn’t gotten there after the time he already had as a pro, I don’t expect him to suddenly figure it out.
Ok, so where do you play him? His bat is legit.

I have always said his future is in left. But right now, as the roster exists, the OF is crowded moving forward (Ramos, Matos, Lee).

So that pretty much leaves 2B or 3B. Estrada is having a rough year, so maybe he has made that spot available? I like Schmitt at 3B, but not enough to “lock it down”. I am not convinced about his bat, yet.

Of course, he could always DH, but if that is his future, I wouldn’t be opposed to making him the centerpiece of a trade.

Pitching rotation up to the ASB:
7.3 @ATL - Hicks
7.4 @ATL - Webb
7.5 @CLE - Harry
7.6 @ CLE - Wholestaff
7.7 @ CLE - Bird
7.8 off day
7.9 TOR - Snell
7.10 TOR - Hicks
7.11 TOR - Webb
7.12 MIN - Harry
7.13 MIN - Bird
7.14 MIN - Snell

We'll see if Bird can hold the spot and how well Snell looks. Shortly after the ASB, Ray and Cobb will be ready.

Interesting times.
coming out of the break, could be a Webb/Snell/Ray/Harry/Bird rotation with Hicks and Cobb in the bullpen.

Astonished Hicks only gave up one run in that inning...he was in full drop trouser mode.

We'll be lucky to get four innings out of him. I think he's hit the wall and will go to the bullpen.

unsurprised that Hicks shit the mound in the fifth. Got the first two outs and imploded.

Ok, take the series tomorrow behind Spider.

2 runs = shit the mound?

Come on, dude. Have some self respect.
did you watch it?

He imploded. It's ok; he'll learn. But that fifth inning, after getting the first two outs? Single, single, double, single....and only an OF assist at home ended the inning. It was awful.
