Nice hit for Span but what's with our runners getting thrown advancing bases? It feels like this has happened a lot in the past month.

I was thinking the same thing, but I suspect it is an organizational strategy. Let the runner score, and we will let you out of the inning. I have not noticed other teams doing this, though, and I am not sure if that is because they have a different strategy, or just because I haven't noticed it.

If he wasn't played so often last year, which in my opinion really deteriorated his body, I'd be pretty okay having him around a couple more seasons. But I think he's about to be dead weight. 2015 was rough on his legs.

I do have a lot of faith in Mac.

I have been scratching my head about this possibility for the last couple months.

If the Giants offer a QO, 1) would he accept rather than go after a multi-year pact? 2) if he accepted, would that be a bad thing?
