20 points across 10 games played for flyers prospects tonight.

Western games getting going.

Big opportunity tonight. A chance to essentially pull ahead of three of our fiercest rivals within the division. The Pens, Jackets and Caps are all only a point or two ahead, having also played in more games. Then, only NJ, who have been falling back down to earth quickly as of late, will remain clearly ahead of us. We could tie them in points too, but they will have a slightly better record regardless.

Either way, we have the ability to go out and prove we are contending for the division here, not just barely limping into the playoffs.

I have no idea how this team gets shut out so often. It makes no sense. Hopefully Patrick is back soon and picks it up...

Need more from the middle 6. While the 1st line is dominating and among the most productive lines in the league, i'd bet the Flyers rely on them more than any other team relies on it's big line. Hopefully Patrick comes back and they can find a productive second line. They should be able to, there's enough talent there..

I have yet to watch the tape of this one, but I am sick and tired of getting shut out too. That's the 4th time already through only 17 games. It feels like more too. That's about 24% of our games though, which has to be extremely high.

And furthermore, Jason Zucker had been the only offense for the Wild in the last two games. So now they've scored 6 goals in 3 games, all of them by him. Can we get a fucking man on this guy? Double him for fuck's sake...Lol So, we play the same team tomorrow night. I expect to score some goals and also to cover this one damn player, because nobody else is scoring for them.

I mean, Zucker is no world beater historically, but when ONE guy is doing all of the scoring for a team you're facing, you'd figure that's the ONE dude we would strive to keep off the scoreboard.

Then he ends up scoring the only goal.

That shit is frustrating, no? Lol

Our other lines were scoring early then Patrick went down and nothing since. Simmer needs to get back his his rough and tumble game it looks like he doesn't want to check anyone anymore.

There has got to be someone better than Lehtera to put in the lineup if someone gets hurt to boost our scoring.

How he makes more money (4.7 million) than Couts and Simmer is beyond me. We have that salary on the cap for next season also.
It was a silly contract to pick up. We should've just tried to get all the high picks we could, or some potential up and comer in their system.

We had to take the contract to off-set Schenn's contract and get 2 1st round picks. There was no getting around it. 400k less than Schenn and 1 year less term.

I dont mean why do we have his contract i mean what the hell is any GM in the league signing this guy to that much money when Couts and Simmer make less.

Yeah, I was more directing that towards Bacon as to why we took Lehtera and additional picks or prospect

and honestly, last year you could have made the same comment regarding Couts contract compared to his production until the last month or so.
