The Flyers still need a Phil Kessel-type, someone with a dangerous shot. I am hoping Patrick can develop into that player.

I was hoping Weal or TK may turn into a Phil Kessel type as they get bigger and stronger. That would be nice to have as well as a huge winger like Maroon.

Good news last night in the standings for us. Devils, Caps, Isles and Jackets all go down. Canes and Pens did win, but we can't have everyone lose...Lol Either way, the division tightens up. It's early still, but we need a win tomorrow night to keep pace here. The Hawks have the exact same record as we do, but we have the home ice in this one. I expect to get two points one way or another.

Guys like Forsberg, Sharp, Williams, Seidenberg and JvR come to mind, for sure. Probably even Prospal and Zubrus too. All guys we pretty much gave up on, only for them to eventually have solid careers.

Well, you're not really listing guys that we drafted and home grew...Lol

Nah, I actually thought of Carter, but look at what we got for him. That wasn't such a bad move for us at all. While Carter has continued to do very well for himself, we got Voracek, Couturier and Cousins in that deal. That's two-thirds of our top line right now and they are doing work.

Trading away Richards looks pretty damn good right now too.

We basically got Simmonds, Lehtera, two first round picks and Grossmann (minus a 3rd) for Richards. Not bad considering the guy is no longer even in the league. Just Simmonds for him straight-up would've eventually been highly in our favor.
