There is always of course the looking menacingly at the QB 5 yard penalty unless he is big and strong or on a non-favored team.

One positive in this game is that Kaep has found his running backs a lot for nice gains.

Special Teams has been underwhelming this year on kick and punt returns. Do we ever start off with good field position?

After than, VD was never targeted. That used to be a strength of the Niners.

People will say I am making excuses, but we lost Gore and Hyde. Celek. Borland. This team made a galiant effort.

Special Teams has been underwhelming this year on kick and punt returns. Do we ever start off with good field position?

Against the Raiders we had a great starting field position. And that last drive we started on the 45. It's not usual, but it's been there this year (mostly due to our D though, not ST). Our offense is absolutely horrible though, so even with good field position we wouldn't do much.

We've got close to nothing from Ellington. I really miss Ted Ginn right now.

I think VD's injuries have slowed him. Other than that, I dont know why.

The Rbs are always open for pass plays and they work. West Coast offense is what we should run but don't. We only throw to them out of panic not design and is a FLAW with our offense at it is designed. need to call 20 plays a game to pass to Rbs out of the backfield JMHO...need to watch game film from the 80s with Joe at the helm during the offseason. Bring Joe M in to coach the Qbs.

I don't think we were ever going to score more than 10 points in this game, anyway. There were some really bad flags on us (to be expected in someone else's house) but even with those and our injuries I just think they are the better team. There isn't much our offense can really do against this D. We got that TD and their D made great adjustments and we didn't do...anything differently. I'm actually happy with the way our D played today, especially with Borland going down.

I was pleased that they played hard today. At least, we can say that.
