KNBR is essentially saying the same thing. They are emphasizing that no one else is running with this “news”.It's Filliponi though. He's not a trustworthy source. If he's right, he's just guessing.

Kinda figured that for awhile now. NE and CLE had offers SF was willing to accept and the extension Aiyuk was looking for...the deal would have been done days ago and it wasn't. He is a damn good player but I found out with OBJ, sometimes better not to trade for the divaRumors circulating that Aiyuk to Pit is a done deal. Just ironing out the minute details.
If ALL they get are 2 future picks (a ‘25 pick counts as a “future pick”), that is a bad trade. The Niners are in all-in territory THIS SEASON, and trading talent-4-picks is not good in that scenario.Interesting to see the alleged package is just a 2nd and a 5th as opposed to Cooper or Bourne and a 2nd.

he,ll find it totally different than sf,especially talent wise.
I heard PIT offered James Daniels, 2nd and 5th. I guess we will see soonIf ALL they get are 2 future picks (a ‘25 pick counts as a “future pick”), that is a bad trade. The Niners are in all-in territory THIS SEASON, and trading talent-4-picks is not good in that scenario.
I believe “winning” is important for players. But getting the scrilla is MORE important. And I can’t fault players for that. Football is a dangerous game, and their careers are SUPER short. They need to strike when the iron is hot.he,ll find it totally different than sf,especially talent wise.
Yeah at first I thought Aiyuk just wanted to get paid but it seems like a lot more than this. Last time the Browns traded for a WR with big demands it was OBJ. Maybe a blessing in disguise.Fully agreed.
Which means Aiyuk was a poison pill in this whole scenario and SF felt like they had to cut bait?
Just seems like they'd be better served playing hard ball with him.
Alright Brandon how does 0 instead of 14 million sound
I won’t pretend that I have any idea about his quality, but the Niners have a craptastic OL, so if he starting-level, that may be a good trade.I heard PIT offered James Daniels, 2nd and 5th. I guess we will see soon
All I know is SF should not budge on their demands bc it sounds like CLE and NE were offering much better trade packages. Just bc Aiyuk wants to go to PIT means very little.I won’t pretend that I have any idea about his quality, but the Niners have a craptastic OL, so if he starting-level, that may be a good trade.

Not sure you are grasping the level of suckage that is the Niners OL.Well...his pff was a 62 lol.

from dallas at that. It's insane cleveland got Amari for a 6th. That was a robbery.
It is an organizational strategy to not invest in the OL (Williams is the exception, obviously). They (right or wrong) believe that OL can handled by going through the scrapheep. You would know better than I sir. I don't recall them on my radar as a bottom five line.
