We have PS2, and he's not shadowing JJ. What good is PS2 doing standing around on the other side of the field guarding the TE when JJ is running free on the other side just because he went in motion? It's not rocket science.
Reading this thread in full this morning was hilarious. Some new blood getting all hot and bothered......
Not sure I will read much into this 13th straight game that was so all over the place with huge swings from a dumpster fire to elation within seconds. The NFL is like that and you just want the win at the end of the day. The one frustrating thing was seeing Juedy light it up when you have Surtain on the team. That can't happen going forward. Abrams Draine actually played decent at the end so maybe he is ready for some more PT. I thought that pass interference was a tough call as the receiver was arm baring him, but that is a welcome to the NFL moment.
The team pulled out a huge win before the bye week, but they clearly need a break. Hopefully Moss heals up and I am sure others are banged up and could use the rest. I think Bo needs the rest as well. You could see him in his coat looking pretty worn down on the sideline even after that last pick 6. As much as he played in College he never had 13 straight weeks of games. Should do his mind and back well.
We are squarely in the playoff hunt after week 13 with a real freaking chance to end this drought which is pretty exciting as a Broncos fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The PI was the right call, but receivers at this level bait CB's into that call with the arm bar on deep balls constantly so I don't really fault him for it and it is a teachable moment. Either he or Mathis need to carve out a roll as Wallace is not more than a dime guy at this point in time as he just can't run with fast receivers any more.
Shout out to Carl calling a great night by Bonitto. He didn’t hit the 2.5 sacks, but he did have a sack and I counted three pressures on the QB.
And by the way, toss in a pick 6!
I thought about that last night as well. Depth is questionable, but really that is the case for a lot of teams. Have to keep staking drafts, a couple of key underrated signings (like Barton who I scoffed at initially) and developing players for depth to improve.I think last night proved the biggest issue on this team is depth. The starting 22 are all looking really good. We have had a couple of injuries we could weather like Singleton going down, but seems like any time one of our safeties misses some time Key struggles and when Surtain missed the Chargers game the entire defense struggled to adjust. This past game without Moss obviously was a concern.
And it should be expected that this is an issue. No draft picks hardly for the past few years and huge dead cap sitting there. We have been fortunate injury wise this season, but I definitely am nervous about any starter going down with injury and how the team can overcome losing them.

It's part of the game. The Bronco's injury record is the product of their design in player training - which takes it back to Sean Payton's full tenure as a HC.I think last night proved the biggest issue on this team is depth. Sorry about my venting last night. Tend to do that while drinking and watching the game by myself. It just seemed to me like this wonderful defense was torched by Jeudy and they were. Frustrating since he really seems dynamic with those flashes.
I just don't trust VJ as.DC. looks rather outstanding against the lesser teams etc, but that was about as bad a defensive performance as the Ravens game.
Concerning

Player depth in the defensive secondary is certainly a question to solve. Hats off to Jerry Jeudy though who showed greatness in this game. I saw Jerry Jeudy and Sean Payton greet each other's as old friends (as did Jaimes Winston). Sean Payton is really close to his players - and they seem to love him.
Looking at the game from the other end of the spectrum - it says a lot about the character of these Broncos to just find another way to win this game. The Broncos won a shootout - in a year where the Defense was carrying them. Complimentary football (of course pic 6's help a lot).
It seemed like half the roster would have a pulled hammy coming out of training camp.
At one point I think we had an over/under on hamstring injuries listed on Friday at 3. Sad.It seemed like half the roster would have a pulled hammy coming out of training camp.
