Going to LA today and dinner out, so I may not be on the GDT.

In advance, without the lineup:

Melky, Huff, Pagan, Nate, Riot all with ownage on Morton. In fact, Pagan is 7-9 (.778!) against the Buc's starter. I'd expect all to be in there. The team is hitting .423 collectively vs. him.

McCutchen and McGehee have SSS ownage on Z. Fortunately, there are no other "Mc"s on their roster.

My guess as to LU:

Pagan
Melkman
Panda
Huff
Chez3
Nate
Stamos
Riot
Z

Fuck those Bucs.....6-1 good guys.

With the redsox searching for LHH outfielders, would not be shocked to see Nate moved. He'd be a great fit in Boston.

Fine, but if so, they better be ready to seriously overpay. We ain't exactly OF-rich, unless we want an OF with a cumulative dWAR of about minus 10. That's beside Oxy's oWAR that is getting more negative than the federal debt.

I'd send him to Boston for the right price. Obviously Nate wont fetch their cream of the crop, but Boston has a really deep system. If we could get someone(s) that profile as back of the rotation work horses, say these two for example

Brandon Workman Minor League Statistics & History - Baseball-Reference.com

Sickles has them as B- guys with low ceilings/high floors. Would be nice to get some young depth in here that doesn't involve Surkamp.

Exactly what I was thinking.

It looked like the tag just beat the runner, but that was too close.

Well, I guess we can confirm that actually is Zito out there. Wasn't sure in Colorado.

I was worried for his family, maybe he'd been replaced by an impostor.

A good throw gets him. Pagan getting lucky today, could be the start to a good thing.
