Sandoval 3b
Posey c
Huff 1b
Schierholtz rf
Crawford ss
Burriss 2b
Cain p

Nate gets a start; ManBur over Riot....

Huff, Pagan, Panda with ownage on McDonald -- the team is hitting .333 against him overall.

Jones and McGehee with ownage on Cainer -- Bucs hitting .195 vs. him overall.

Fuck those guys, 6-1 GMen!!!

I won't be on the thread as I will be at the park, so if I see an old cooter rocking two pair of Depends I'll kick him in the vag for everyone.

Yep. Next year:

CF Brown
LF Melkman
3B Panda
C Posey
1B Belt
RF Peggs
SS Stamos
2B Panik
P

----> 100% homegrown, since Melkman == Chez2.

But my magik eight ball says, "doubtful," for that lineup.

Agree. Panik is more like mid-season '13 and I just do not have super expectations for Peggy. RK, on the other hand, may actually turn into a Bowker+++. He is RAKING (granted SSS).

Panik not till 2014 and we'll see with Peggs but Kiechnick is raking right now in AAA (.500/.528/.971) 8 XBH.

Burst in 2009, injured in 2010, held his own in AA last year. Could be a sleeper... or a Bowker/Linden.

That's cute. Do you guys get the same presents and finish each other's sentences, too?

I guess Belt's "pressing" issues are pretty bad. Talk about a short leash.

(BTW: I trust Boch on this one. If the kid's brain is too fried to start regularly at this point, then he might as well play Nate)

I'd prefer Huff to have the shorter leash but I'm not the one with the size 15 hat.

Robo, do you also have an avi for bringing the Black Panthers to justice for putting a bounty out of a citizen who is presumed innocent?

I ask politely (or TRY to ask politely) to keep politically charged subject out of this forum.

Got to give Bochy credit for not yo-yoing Belt in and out of the lineup. He was in and now he is out.

The party doesn't start until we say it does! :horn:
The thunderstorm last night was like the opening sequence to a rock concert. "the skies opened up and the lord said let there be baseball"

lol @ thread title

Cainer at home gives me the warm fuzzies.

Wish I was at the ballpark with tzill and co. but duty calls. I'll try to hang around for as long as I can.

Man, it feels good to have baseball back

RK's problem has always been the K, right? Even now, hitting .500, he is on pace for around 110 strikeouts. Cautiously optimistic, though.

I think his REAL problem has been his health. His back specifically. If a guy can mash, I dont care if he Ks

tim kawakami [via Twitter]:

Giants doing their usual nice job on pre-game festivities, honoring 1962 team. Can't wait for Joe Lacob's speech to wrap it up.

Cain strikes out the first enemy batter at home of 2012. I like it.

Pagan continues to remind us all of Torres. But worse with the glove. What the hell do we do if he can't cut it in CF?
