My original assessment was definitely overly harsh. Her stylist/hair-and make-up person needs to insist that she wear her hair down when on camera. It makes a huge difference. To go from Amy G.-esque to hotty with one change is a big leap.

Yeah, he was hurt. Ankle according o Crawford. My first thoughts based on the velocity drop off were hip, oblique, or shoulder in order of increasing pantsshittiness

Giving up 17 and seeing Timmeh get knocked around again kinda took what little wind there was out of everyone's sails.

Nice to see some serious hitting numbers up there, at least. The pitching WILL come around sooner rather than later.

That trade is really only HORRIBLE in reputation only. Nathan bloomed more than anyone thought he would, and AJ was a cancer for us, but Bonser and Liriano both essentially turned into busts.

I still say that with the info at hand at the time, it was a good trade.

Maybe not the next Robb Nen, but Kevin Towers of the Padres saw Nathan as a future closer at the time. Probably why Towers always puts together great bulllpens where ever he goes. And many people loved Liriano's talent, but thought he'd never stay healthy enough to be much at the ML level - it was fp santagolo that put the kibosh on him, IIRC.
