I already repped you, whore, and now I'm repped out for 24 hours. And, yes, Wilson shit the bed. That wasn't Wilson blowing 97 to corners and walking a few, it was more like watching a guy who knows his career may be over and not wanting to leave the last dance in the middle of the song.

Crawford said he tweaked his ankle in a post game interview, but I don't see how an ankle tweak suddenly erases 6-7 mph off his FB. He humped one up there to Tulo at 95, and then was barely cracking 88 to Scutaro.

I am kinda whoring around today...

Torture is alive and well, we should be used to this.

Probably can't push off the mound like he normally would.

Have to wait and see, of course. But, yeah, that much of a drop off is scary in its implication.

I was listening, but not that closely. Was Willy hurt? I know Posey called the coaches out to look at him.

I wonder is Hembree was watching...

Yeah, he was hurt. Ankle according o Crawford. My first thoughts based on the velocity drop off were hip, oblique, or shoulder in order of increasing pantsshittiness

What? Only 94 posts on a game winning thread? You guys should be ashamed! Oops, I didn't contribute. Would have been over 96 posts for sure.

Poor job on the thread. Nice job on delivering the W. Well done!

Giving up 17 and seeing Timmeh get knocked around again kinda took what little wind there was out of everyone's sails.

Nice to see some serious hitting numbers up there, at least. The pitching WILL come around sooner rather than later.

Nice game by Teh Bumster.

That trade is really only HORRIBLE in reputation only. Nathan bloomed more than anyone thought he would, and AJ was a cancer for us, but Bonser and Liriano both essentially turned into busts.

I still say that with the info at hand at the time, it was a good trade.

Rep. Of course, we're alone on this island, Cal

Call me stranded on that island with you guys, too

Nathan was a converted SS that had injury issues. No one had him as the next Robb Nen.

The knife was twisted with every Benitez appearance..

Maybe not the next Robb Nen, but Kevin Towers of the Padres saw Nathan as a future closer at the time. Probably why Towers always puts together great bulllpens where ever he goes. And many people loved Liriano's talent, but thought he'd never stay healthy enough to be much at the ML level - it was fp santagolo that put the kibosh on him, IIRC.
