You clearly don't know the rule. The umpire reviewing the play to see if there was a mistake made estimated Baez veered 8 feet away from the base path he created.

He was never outside the extra white line down the 1st base line. He could still reach 1st base with his hand. You just can't admit that you got some help from the ump.

Maybe you were dropped on your head as a child? Did you not read the rule? It was teed up for you to do so. Once a runner establishes a base path it doesn't matter where the 45 foot line is. Once he established his base path, he couldn't veer more than 3 feet from it. The runner veered 8 feet from the path. He's out.

Pretty simple, even for someone who roots for Turds/Peckers/Celts. How dafuq did you come up with those three anyway? Just pick and choose winners?
