Maybe I'm just more of an NBA fan than most, but I still have a solid list of like two dozen players I would be happy with on my roster. There's still plenty of talent out there and I'm kind of surprised a few names haven't gone yet either.

Me too.

Lots of unproven rookies with limited upside going ahead of established vets who are good role players.

There are probably 20-25 NBA starters who aren't taken yet. (not that I think these are the best next 20 players -- but we're drafting in the 7th round/8th round and still can snag NBA starters)

Corey Joseph was the best player on the board by a wide margin, IMO. Nice pick!
I considered drafting him with my previous pick, but I thought he had a better chance to slide than Ross. Happy to have them both, now I just need some backup bigs.

I was deciding between him and Chalmers, but I took Chalmers because he is the better shooter and has championship experience.

The only downside for Joseph is the lack of outside shooting. Augustin was a guy I was also thinking about but saw him already drafted which made my choice easier. I also added another younger guy instead of one of the veterans, I think the oldest player on my team is Ibaka at 26.

I think my Speights pick was solid

Definitely. I thought of going Josephs and Speights over Hill and Splitter, but Hill was more consistent in what he brings for me. Speights was a good value pick though.

I was typing the words SPEIGHTS when I saw Bk's pick at the last minute

I had to delete my post, and find another.

Doesn't play any defense, but he is instant offense for an 8th or 9th man type player

kinda interesting looking at hte draft- you can see some tiers at points

obviously the first tier I would say goes from:

Tier 1- Pick 1- LBJ to Pick 6 Kawhi Leonard- the best of the best- true elites

Tier 2- Pick 7 to pick Klay Thompson to pick 29- Giannis A.--- I think there are mostly very good franchise level players in this tier

Tier 3- pick 30 - Ricky Rubio to pick 64- Pau Gasol- Very good players- all stars , or possible future all stars

Tier 4- pick 65- Jabari Parker to pick 89 Tony Parker- still very solid NBA players- fewer all stars but a few- but guys you can still build with and have as main guys on your team

Tier 5- Pick 90 Luol Deng- to 128 Nikola Mirotic---- another level down- solid nba players- some rising , some failing.....

Tier 6- Pick 129 Aaron AFfalo to 203 Corey Brewer--- another level down

Tier 7- Pick 204 through current.

Updating the big board, will get my pick in soon as well.

@handicappers has been on the clock for like 3 days. I am pretty sure he has checked out.

Also, I for one don't think anyone else should pick for him. Any missed picks can be made up after the draft is over. I would be really pissed if somebody picked for him and grabbed the player I am hoping falls to me.

We established in the beginning that if someone missed their pick we would select someone for them once that round concludes, doesn't necessarily have to be the best available, but just a body to keep the thing moving. Once OKC picks and the 8th round concludes I think it's best to fill that roster spot. Otherwise it'll just get way too difficult to keep track of once the draft ends.

It's frustrating to see people back out now. It literally takes like 5 minutes to make a pick and you only need to do it every once in a while with how slow this thing is moving. You think you have to put in work for this? Try updating everyone's pick, filling out depth charts and keeping the thing running all while drafting for two different teams.

oh for Christ's sake, I have been busy the last couple of days. Sorry I didn't get my 4th string Center picked sooner.
