We established in the beginning that if someone missed their pick we would select someone for them once that round concludes, doesn't necessarily have to be the best available, but just a body to keep the thing moving. Once OKC picks and the 8th round concludes I think it's best to fill that roster spot. Otherwise it'll just get way too difficult to keep track of once the draft ends.

That is fair. Please know that your efforts here are very much appreciated!

@ericd7633 usually picks pretty early in the morning. I will be around for about an hour before I have to go to work, but I left my next pick with @bksballer89. As long as Eric doesn't snipe my guy, we should be able to keep this thing moving.

Had been targeting David West for awhile. @tlance has a knack for selecting the guy I was about to pick.

I know he's 35, but I'm surprised how long he stayed on the board.

That wasn't directed towards one person man. Many people have been slacking big time the last couple rounds.

That includes me. Won't happen again, got way too drunk in downtown Chicago for the St. Patty's day parade and couldn't even fathom trying to make a pick when I was struggling to find the train home

It's frustrating to see people back out now. It literally takes like 5 minutes to make a pick and you only need to do it every once in a while with how slow this thing is moving. You think you have to put in work for this? Try updating everyone's pick, filling out depth charts and keeping the thing running all while drafting for two different teams.
Nos does an unbelievable job with the Mocks thread. The 32 team NFL draft we do takes a week tops. I'm sure he'd have insight on helping to keep things moving in the future:2cents:

Hollis-Jefferson was a great pick, imo. I was thinking about taking him this last round, but opted to shore up my center position first. Great defender, with upside offensively.

@bksballer89 , thanks for posting my pick for me!

I am loving my WizSpurs, at least for this year.

@gordontrue , Hollis-Jefferson was pretty high on my list. I would have taken him if I cared even a little bit about 3 years from now. I knew West would not make it back to me again though, and he obviously fits my roster.

We are getting there.....with a little luck we could be through Round 10 sometime this weekend!

cmon guys- lets make a good run here these next few days- the last couple days we have done pretty darn good- KEEP IT UP!!!

I really want to see how my team performs in the SIM...im not even sure of my starting lineup- its hard to decide...
ROSTER
PG.) Deron Williams, Mathew Dellavadova
SG.) MKG, Jared Dudley
SF.) LeBron James, Mike Dunleavy
PF.) Tristan Thompson, Channing Frye
C.) Jonas Valunciunas

I could go REALLY defensive heavy with:
PG- Mathew Dellavadova
SG- MKG
SF- LeBron
PF- T. Thompson
C- Valunciunas

or go more smaller with more shooting (and size too actually)
PG- Deron Williams
SG- Jared Dudley
SF- MKG
PF- LeBron
C- Valunciunas

or just go super-small with Bron and a bunch of shooters and defense
PG- Delly
SG- Dudley
SF- Dunleavy
PF- MKG
C- (MAGIC STYLE!) Bron

i dunno- anyone have any suggestions or ideas?

For your team I would have a starting lineup of
PG: Williams
SG: Dudley
SF: Lebron
PF: Frye
C: Valanciunas

Lebron is obviously going to dominate the ball and you need to space him with a few shooters to begin with. Frye helps to space at the 4. Valanciunas can handle the paint duties. Dudley is a capable shooter and Williams is hit or miss.

Then with your second unit you could go:

PG: Delly
SG: Dunleavy
SF: MKG
PF: Lebron
C: Tristan

This gives you a smaller lineup, but one that is capable of running.

C- Brook Lopez-
PF- Nikola Mirotic- Darrell Arthur
SF- Paul George- Doug McDermott
SG- Zach LaVine- Ben McLemore
PG- Jeff Teague- Ish Smith

Got my defensive stopper on the wing with Roberson. His defensive metrics are great and I can play him at the 2-4 positions on my team if I go small.

Even at this stage, still plenty of quality players out there, and Javale McGee is not a quality player.:suds:

Like the Clippers current roster, My fictional Clippers roster can't stop ANYBODY, outside of Jordan.

Maybe I should hire Trigger Mike " no D " Antoni as my Head Coach.

Man, the fact that they are starting Dirk at Center tells you all you need to know about that idiot.

Agreed.

I was not exactly going for best available there. McGee is good for 2 things:

Blocking shots and ruining team chemistry.
