I don't know. I need Boise State fans to give me some word on what they've got coming back. I know MSU is without Cousins and Cunningham now but that defense is mostly back and they're pretty hard on people.
I think MSU wins in a game that isn't close, but isn't a blowout. Something like 31-17, where they have the lead the whole time. That defense will be too good for Boise's inexperienced offense.
BSU was more than their QB and I think they will do well this year in the BE? (or is that next year?) Regardless, I think MSU takes this game in a close defensive battle, 20-13.
This is really hard to figure. Michigan St has the home advantage. But I don't know what to expect from either team. Each lost key players. The one which rebuilt the best should win. I'll take MSU but wouldn't be surprised either way.
I just watched a former Boise State WR titas young drop a perfectly placed pass thrown at him while in the end zone from my boy Sam Bradford @ Dallas. For that reason, I voted MSU.
There might be a bit of a B1G bias in this, but I picked Michigan State in a close one. I like both coaches. I think BSU losing Moore will have a bigger affect than MSU losing Cousin.
I also think MSU D has a target on their backs with refs, and if they play dirty like they did against Michigan, they could lose a few players for the game. If they play fundamentally clean, I think MSU wins a close one.
