I really like his game, but he was shipped out of Winnipeg with behavioral concerns too. I think a team with a history of winning can take a guy like that and do wonders, I'm not sure the Flyers can get enough out of him to make it worth it though.

I was thinking now that all of his dirty laundry is out there he will change his ways but ill agree with you on this one ,he needs a lot more help than our locker room can provide.

Honestly - depressed. Just thinking about how many players have to seriously step up from last year’s performance in order for anything Fletcher has done to make a difference feels me with despair.

Your comment is spot on IMO, but I don't feel depressed. I'd say I'm neutral on everything. I really like the Ellis and Atkinson moves. The Ristolainen deal I'm lukewarm on, but he's an upgrade over 2020/21 Myers at the very least. And fills a need for sure.

I'm excited to see how it all comes together. I think Yandle/Atkinson are going to bring a lot of positive energy that the team sorely needs. Maybe that helps the younger guys bounce back. And if they do, they could really have something. It's a lot of ifs, but I can see it coming together.

i cant say im depressed because at the very least we will not be the boring team to watch that we have been for years. With the changes made there will be hitting and pushing and protecting the crease.

Being 30-1 is rather depressing though.

Strange. It leaves me thinking we could use a steady defenseman like Timonen right about now and a playoff performer like Briere too. Hopefully we got even just some of that with our acquisitions this offseason.

Our young guys will bounce back and look at Farabee. The sky is the limit for that kid and he's only 21. Expect a monster year from him and a new contract to follow.
