What a damn good game.
I take that back, I watched the replay. The receiver could not have caught the ball but he was hit. There did seem to be no contact until after the ball was intercepted.
no need to worry about that.......I take that back, I watched the replay. The receiver could not have caught the ball but he was hit.
Of course, now it does not matter. If Notre Dame wins the National Championship, think of what the Northern Illinois players can tell their grandchildren.
2 things.....Other than being a walking double standard why don't you point out OSU didn't really play any terrible quarters in their loss to Oregon which was AT Oregon and a 1 point loss. But you make excuses in a 20 point loss on a neutral field?First off, who says we have to pick one? Second, Gabriel has not been a 3-year starter in any conference -- Leonard has. Finally, Leonard has only played for one college football team that belongs to a conference -- again, unlike Gabriel.
Oregon played one terrible quarter, against a quality opponent. As did all of the teams who had nearly a month off before the playoff. On the other hand, the remaining teams all lost multiple games or lost to a weak opponent. If you want to say that two losses sans pressure is better than one with pressure, we'll have to agree to disagree on that point.
Again, I don't follow your logic that losing multiple games is better than losing one, regardless of circumstance.
If that's the case, why play the games?
Obsessed with you? You are free comic relief.I guess I'm flattered that my schedule is of such interest to you. Suggest that you might want to seek a more fulfilling hobby though. If you're not careful you'll end up obsessed with me, like at least one other individual here is.
Anyway, whether or not Oregon is a national champion this season remains to be seen. If you are intending to injure me by mocking the Ducks, I'll remind you that I'm not an Oregon fan, so knock yourself out -- those comments will fall like water off a duck's back.
Well, assuming OSU beats Texas, the last two ND vs OSU games have been close, Especially, the last one. OSU will probably be favored by at lest 6. But I am sure a dyed in the wool OSU fan would give me 10. I will admit that OSU looks like the better team. But the games still has to be played.no need to worry about that.......
Yeah....they need to do away with that rule. Maybe just play a real OT like NFL?Well, assuming OSU beats Texas, the last two ND vs OSU games have been close, Especially, the last one. Just as Ohio State was not intimidated by Oregon neither will Notre Dame be so by OSU. Notre Dame's QB, running backs and defense is not that far below OSU. The QB and Love might even be equal. The freshman receiver will be covered by Watts so that could be a draw. I do look for a close game with luck, lake penalty, late mistake, missed or made field goal deciding the winner.
I do hope that one team wins by 7 or more so that there is no overtime. I would hate to see one team lose after multiple series of 2-point conversions in overtime.
