Besides our rotation, there is nothing to be excited about heading into the season opener.

It is sad, this team is in a contention window and the most exciting part of spring training is seeing how the 19-22 year olds do
It's a smoke show for Jerry to tell us the future is bright. Maybe some 22yr old cracks the bigs but when these kids are ready half our rotation might be gone.

Thing is I do think the future is bright. But just don’t why both can’t happen. No one is asking for them to burn down their farm system or spend like the Dodgers. There is a nice middle ground that the Cubs or Atlanta fall into.

I know people will say Chicago is a bigger market, well tell those people to go pound sand cause there are two cities in Chicago. And it’s what bugs me about the whole medium market crap. The Yankees and Dodgers are the only teams who are “big” markets. The M’s have as much wealth chasing them as any of the other duplicate or higher market cities. I’m not exactly sure where Toronto falls though cause they can be the Dodgers but their tax is worse than the Seattle tax
