Will Howard is another QB that i wouldnt mind picking day 3. Will be interesting to watch him and Leonard in the title game

He is a QB i have been watching also MrS. He isnt the 3 to 1 guy i like but he is close to it. ( TD to INT ). His time at KSU ( 4 years ) wasnt as good as his single year for OSU but this shows you the effect a good team has on QB's. You take a average or slightly below average QB from a below average team in the NFL an put him on a good team there is a good chance his play improves. Good teams can make piss poor QB's look good and bad teams can make a good QB look bad. Not saying KSU was bad just not as good as OSU.

I see WAY to many people though assuming there will be 5 to 6 QB taken in the first 2 rounds OR MORE! Not going to happen.

Hawks getting to play the two weakest division in the NFL ( AFC South and NFC South ) really helps the 2025 season look brighter But then again they couldnt even beat the Giants in Seattle. That being said I think a average QB could get us to 10+ wins next season and could easily get more. If Geno comes back and can keep his INT's BELOW 10 with a much lower Redzone turnover rate we could see a 12+ win season.

I also expect the Hawks to get one away game on the other side of the Atlantic next season.

I would like to agree but there are too many desperate teams with stupid people running things in the league that will be reaching for these guys. Truthfully, there isn't a QB in this draft that's worth any higher than a 3rd rounder but sadly, at least 3 poorly run franchises will be wasting high firsts on scrubs and hoping to catch lightning. Ewers. Aller and Beck are all really bad QBs and at best back-ups and I'm pretty sure Sanders will be a bust. Might be the worst QB class we've seen in decades.

Allar and Beck already said they are staying in college another year. Ewers probably will as well

If Allar, Beck and Ewers all stay in College this weak class that was kind of Heavy in the middle becomes weaker. 2026 would be loaded with 1st through 3rd round talent. I wish more of these kids would come out now though as it would remove some other teams from being QB needy. Most clubs dont give up on a QB in the first 2 years or shouldn't.

i havent watched much of howard, but he seems accurate and has a really quick release, and he made plays when it counted which ewers did not.

Ewers did not impress me this year. If anything he hurt his stock and I bet thats why he is returning to College, To see if he can raise his stock again. If anything his play this season lost him millions of dollars.

I want to like ewers but i just cant. He seems like the opposite of Howard and Leonard, on a stacked team but not elevated.
Will be interesting to see how he does on a different team next year, he may crash his stock completely.
Beck is transferring to miami, maybe he gets himself into top pick consideration like ward did.

Well Mac seemed to figure out the defense a bit in the second half of the season. The Giants put up 420 yards on us and basically controlled the ENTIRE first quarter almost outdoing us 2:1 in TOP... Tracy Jr. ran ALL over us. This was also after we were getting most of our front 7 back from injury. And the offensive line couldn't protect Geno at all (7 sacks). Sure some might be on Geno, but certainly not all of them. And then the glaring issues: 7 rushes, by Seattle's RBs... excluding Geno who nearly had 75 yards on the ground. Course when you're allowing the other team to control the ball for nearly 40 minutes, you don't stand much of a chance.

NYG chewed up 10 minutes on their opening drive (lol seriously?) and then Seattle got gifted a TO TD (IMO). After we got the ball back being up 7-0... 3 and out. 1 run, then two passes. Then NYG ties the game. So 7-7... that's fine. Then we get this:

Are you fucking kidding me? 7 straight passes in a row. WTF? That's when I knew Grubb had to go. And no surprise now there's rumors Seattle considered firing Grubb at the bye. You could tell Mac during the press conferences was fairly annoyed when he replied, "We have to run the ball more." Just the tone as monotone as he is you could tell he was frustrated. Smith threw the ball 40 times, sacked 7, ran 4... so 51 drop backs. That is fuckin' ridiculous for 20 minutes TOP.

I think if there was a rematch in the second half of the season Seattle wins that game.

Eh, it's 2022 all over again. I'd argue 2022 was worse than this class for QB. It just wasn't near as bad for basically every other position lol. So QBs fell even more. 2022 basically sucks at every position early on lol. There's a FEW guys (talking all positions) worthy of a top 16 first round pick in this draft. It's minimal. This draft is about on par with the 2009 draft in terms of overall grade. The one caveat to 2009 was it had Stafford at least (a worth top 5 QB).

Pickett was a reach in the 1st and busted. I remember everyone saying Seattle was going to draft Willis, and then freaking out when Seattle didn't lol. Willis was a bust, Ridder a bust. And those were 3rd round picks, and everyone knew it. I remember thinking Walter Football was insane for giving out good grades on those picks and blasting Seattle all the while in that draft for not taking a QB.
