Reddick could be great.

Any retread they could possibly hire is not getting the Lakers where they want to go.

Yeah, based on his analysis in games and on his podcast, he knows his stuff.

It's just a question of whether or not he can translate it into the game.

With the available coaching candidates being re-treads and guys with no HC experience...he's as good a choice as anyone I suppose.

It pains me to say it... but the most likely outcome in L.A. is that it doesn't matter who the coach is, they're not coming out of the powerhouse West regardless... a total blow-up in 1 or 2 seasons is all but inevitable.

Can't speak for other Lakers fans, but this feels like another "we'll just fire him in 2 years" type hire.

I'm hoping that they will do what they tried to do with Hurley and give him years and money that shows they believe in their choice.
