Actually with the Reed add they are only at like 12 million so it would have to be a 3 teamer with Stewart involved. Which unless they add another center in the process seems highly unlikely. I think Detroit is probably done and will carry the extra cap into the season for mid year trades of which they will be in a spot to absorb a 20 million plus contract

Is Tatum elite? I don't know. I'd say needs another ring to be in that conversation for sure.

But then again Giannis is elite and only has one ring. But he's a helluva defender. Can't say that about TJ.

It seems odd that people are using the example of a championship that was led by his finals MVP teammate as qualification of his own status as elite.

It's not about ring count but more the burden that the player takes on (and surpasses) on that championship run.
