They need 'The Embiid Rules'.

1. No chasedown blocks
2. No diving. Over scoring tables. Chairs. Rows. Only when faking being fouled.
3. No back to backs, unless he only played 3 quarters the night before. Fu@k the league rules. Left knee soreness every game.
4. At any point if he looks hurt, take him out, bubble wrap him, and rest until 100%
5. No unnecessary jumping. Leaving the ground is the probably the biggest trauma to his legs/knees. Especially when there is a large group of players around him. More chances of landing on someone awkwardly.

The regular season is for tuning.
Staying healthy is more important than any seed.
Ultimately, you have to beat Boston in Boston, so if you cannot beat any other Eastern team on their own court, you don't belong there.
I said a week ago or so. Play him for the final 20-25 games of the regular season to get him in a groove, maybe he won't get injured and he will be fully healthy for the playoffs. I mean your list is basically saying he can't do anything lol

I wouldn't care if he played once a week for optimal rest.
The team and Joel just have to be smart about this.
He doesn't need to play every game.
He doesn't need to qualify for a meaningless MVP trophy.
All of their resources should be focused on him being 100% for the playoffs.

That's it.

6. Give up on the idea of competing for MVP, All NBA etc… The only way of delivering him to the Finals offs healthy means playing 50-55 games.

This is just “Say the right thing” shit. He can’t say publicly that he and his agent really fucked up reading the market.

Some good shit to see about the Nick Nurse version of this team. People weren’t saying this about basketball with Doc.

But also…Miami’s window is closed. They don’t have any flexibility in maneuverability. The better chance to win for him is actually Philly.

We all knew Doc sucked but some Philly fans wanted to believe he could get it done. Nurse was a huge upgrade
I was hopeful that Doc could get it done. After watching it though, I was on the fire Doc bandwagon.

Didn't realize Trent Jr was a Klutch client.

He turned down 15 mill from the Raps. Looks like he is patiently waiting on the Lakers to make some room for his contract.

He is talking to Lebron as we speak and telling him to not sign his contract. Get me that money, let me make more than you Bron.

Never mind. I misremembered. Yours was retarded (Embiid is always injured so let’s go get Zion cause we hate watching an injured guy play at 75%. We would rather he just sit the whole thing out instead.)

@shopson67 wasnt and. Sorry Shopson you were right. That was the decent one. But why is Hou doing it anyway? If I remember everybody decent was in the deal and it was Embiid and FVV.

It was mostly a reaction to the Rockets reportedly throwing in for Durant and changing that to Embiid essentially.

They are trying to add Kuzma allegedly. For Huerter.

LOL.

That Kings resurgence seems likely to collapse from within. "Max out" without really adding talent overall.

Here’s what these “trade Embiid” nimrods don’t understand. If Embiid is healthy he’s one of 7-8 guys in the league that you look at and say he can be the best player in the playoffs for 6-7 weeks.

I don't think it's about not understanding that, it's that he doesn't do you any good if he's not healthy for the playoffs. It's similar to AD with the Lakers...he's been healthy for the playoffs 3 times and they've gotten a title and a run to the WCF.

Healthy Embiid in the playoffs puts you in the ECF at minimum...but when has he been healthy?

Not necessarily saying he should be traded now. But there's a point where, if you wait too long, you won't be able to move him and get much back.
