I think they’re waiting for hou to give up the pho future

People around here were upset when it came out that Markenan was available right after the thunder made their moves. I said that deal was never going to happen.

If Atlanta won't even move Capela for Ingram....Cleveland had no interest. Nobody wants to give him $50M per year. New Orleans should just play hardball on an extension bc if he hits the open market..nobody is giving him that kind of money. Well I say nobody...maybe Houston lol

That's where the center market has fallen to. He's the top available guy, unless you can find a trade.

I still hope the Lakers can swing a trade for Wendell Carter or Day'Ron Sharpe (maybe part of a Thomas or DFS trade)?

Now with that slim market teams probably want to hold onto their centers. Orlando has Wagner as a backup so I am not sure they want him starting.

Brooklyn could have more flexibility. Sharpe makes sense

Magic also brought back Bitadze and extended Issac for good money (and was playing some 5 later in the season). I think Carter could get squeezed for minutes.

I wouldn’t call it blaming PG, but Kahwi is under contract. They had to ask if keeping PG wins a title and it doesn’t.

Like I said, he was already under contract and they know they won’t get value because of the injuries. People thought Balmer would just spend whatever, guys like him aren’t like that. Has to be a return. Plus I obviously meant they knew there was no title with Kahwi AND Leonard.

And frankly just getting a rotation of different types of centers and rotating them can work

The Lakers are looking at offloading some small contracts so they can add Gary Trent Jr.

They might be better off agging 3 or 4 for one smaller deal

But it’s hard to go with a short bench when one of your 14 is bronny

Isaac more of a 4 imo. Forgot about Bitadze, if they trust him getting more than few minutes than they can flip Carter but next year makes more sense. He will be expiring next season
