There’s decent centers out there

And frankly just getting a rotation of different types of centers and rotating them can work

New Orleans had Yves Missi (their draft pick from Baylor who has only been playing basketball for 4 years) and Jeremiah Earl-Robinson before adding Theis. They have legit top 6 aspirations. You cannot roll with Missi and Earl-Robinson as your C rotation. Earl Robinson will be a backup PF and 3rd string/emergency C now.

Theis helps them with experience and a guy who hustles, rebounds, and plays defense. And twice has averaged double figures in scoring.

But it’s hard to go with a short bench when one of your 14 is bronny

I am pretty sure right now we are at 15.

I would not mind offloading 2 of even 3 smaller contracts to go sign Trent Jr and add another player in the FA market.

I love Lauri and think he is very good.

But, if they saw where things were going......they should have dealt Leonard. They would have found a team to give them a nice return and the Clipps could have tweaked the roster this summer around PG and Harden.

I loved prime Leonard before he started getting hurt but he will not be that player ever again.
