Dude he’s a rookie. Let’s give him a break

In case you weren't aware that fella you responded to elpatron1 was dropped on his head multiple times as a child. His brain don't work right.

He hates-hates-hates LeBron so it only makes sense for him to hate Bronny.

Yeah he is a good fit for LA. They need a shooter. He is out there to shoot, I think he is average at best at everything else maybe that’s why the low interest
Or not a lot of teams have cap space this summer, more teams have money next summer.

He is an above average defender as well.

No doubt it's gonna be weird.

And obviously the only reason the purple 'n gold took Bronny is LeBron told them to do that.

My main concern has nothing to do with Bronny. It's the stupid media. I hope they don't over-cover the Lakers because of the league's 1st father/son duo. If they do that (espn lookin' at you) Bronny will quickly become one of the league's most disliked players. And I don't want something like that to happen to the kid.

They will initially. From what has been said, I expect Bronny will spend most of the season in the G-league. Best thing to do, imo, might be to just have him with the Lakers for the first few games so the media can get it out of their system, then send him to the G-league.

Well DJ, if the Lakers can move Lewis and Reddish, then maybe the trade or signing would probably go through. Nobody is interested in either Lewis or Reddish, so we are kind of stuck.

My best friend and I were talking.....Bronny most likely starts the season with the Lakers so the father and son thing can be made.....and then be sent down later.....

Maybe bring him back up in Feb-March and see if he has made some progress.

Or Trent and he is a better defender.
The guy that has made more 3s than anyone in the last 5 years is what was needed. For whatever reason he didn’t want to go there.

If we attach a few 2nd rounders some team with cap space may be interested. Could be others but I used Reddish and Lewis because that is who I would like to see go.

Just used Detroit as an example.

Trent made 39.3% last season.

Hield made 38.6% last season.

And Trent is a better defender, something to think about since we could use help there also. Hield is not as good as Trent on defense.

Again, I thought a potential deal with Detroit was discussed. The particulars and specifics were not released. May have been about trying to move DRuss. WE shall see if things develop. Trent would def be a Redick player and he plays D pretty well but we can't do shit until cap space is created.

That makes sense for him to spent time in the G-league. He's simply not ready for the pace of the NBA games. Like I said in another comment I'm rooting for him. Too bad he's a Laker! :heh:

I’ll say it again, Buddy has made more 3s than anyone in the last 5 years, that included Steph. If you are all the sudden going to shoot 3s volume is needed. Trent is not that guy, but he would be a bit of a step up over what they have.

Well, Hield is gone elsewhere so the Lakers have only Trent or nobody except the peeps they already have.

From the nobody gives a shit files.

Trent's dad Gary Sr. played at Ohio U. and his nickname was the Shaq of the MAC.

Average at best. He also has a low fg %. He doesn’t do much to help you win. Like I said, decent role player and he can shoot
