Bucks and Nuggets have yet to make the finals after their title, but it's still recent enough that they could. My point stands, expecting the Lakers to be a multiple title team is a tough ask, that is pretty rare.

And considering the way front offices are criticizing the new cba it’s clear they were not on the same page as the owners during the cba as well

Well yeah, I posted an article from the Athletic talking about how the new CBA has killed superteams/dynasties for the time being. It specifically cited the Clippers, Warriors, and Lakers as teams that can no longer buy their way out of their mistakes

So again, expecting the Lakers to repeat is a tough ask especially now that their generational player is finally no longer that level, and with the new CBA.

They had every chance and blew it

Getting bos/okc finals for the next 5 years would be amazing for 2 key reasons

1) it would show this cba is stupid af and needs to die in a fire, or get put out to pasture like Lenny…which is the same level of iq you needed to create it; and

2) phuck Philly

That would be amazing mostly for the fact that the chances are about the same as Sydney Sweeney showing up to my place later to Netflix and chill.

I will be extremely impressed if the Celtics can even win another title. They will be contenders for sure but so much has to go right.

Father time wins again? Hardly.

Bron is still a top 10-15 player. Just because he isn't winning a lot of titles with the Lakers means very little. Or it speaks to how tough the WC Is. And that's pretty much it.

This aligns with what Bobby Marks mentioned. They need an upgrade desperately at wing

Can we all do a Powerball or Megamillions pool? Or both?

Tired of working. I think we could have @trojanfan12 get the tickets once we get the cash to him. He's a mod here so he prolly has the credibility to be the guy in charge, maybe?

Franz Wagner got 5 years and 224 mill?

Yikes.
Well like Barnes...it's either extend them or trade them this offseason or before the deadline. Difficult to match salaries and you have to extend when the player is key to your rebuild and you drafted them. I mean that's what the rookie max is now.
