Yep, improved but not contenders. Adding Markannen probably gets them in the mix though.
Yeah probably in that second tier. I wouldn't put them in with Minny, OKC or Dallas still but their ceiling is higher than the last couple seasons.

Curious what people think....

Did Bron sign a 1 + 1 on that 2 year deal because he thinks it's almost over or to opt out and get more cash next offseason when the salary cap goes up again?
No one knows, that’s why no one wants to play there

6....maybe 5.
Seriously? In the WC.....have you been paying attention?

In no particular order.....

OKC
Minny
Dallas
Phoenix
NO (added Murray)
The LAC let PG walk but they are not going to be dogshit. Not with their offseason, they have done a solid job after losing a perennial AS.

And Memphis with a healthy Ja? They are a possible top 4-5 team.

Sacramento (had a down season but in talks for several players this offseason)

An improving Houston with some key players in their 2nd season there....there is something called continuity.

I did not even mention a certain team in Los Angeles but I could have.

May want to hold off on that till the season is about to start.

Forgot Phoenix, agree there

NO is losing Ingram so just going sideways

LAC without PG on paper look like the Warriors should be better

The rest (Houston, Lakers, Sacto, Memphis) are not for sure better than the Ws. We are just discussing their ceiling not their locked in position. Without further upgrades the Ws look like a 5-6 seed, could be worse with bad luck and other teams surprising. If Kuminga does in his 4th year what Jaylen Brown did in his they may have even more upside (JK and JB's numbers are very similar their first 3 years, with JK even a little better)

Pretty sure Ainge wanted like 3-4 picks + a young player with potential. I am not sure GS has the offer. I guarantee Ainge is asking for Kuminga
If they aren't including Kuminga.....Trader Danny is hanging up the phone.

Sounds like Russ to the Nuggets is just a formality at this point.

This aligns with what Bobby Marks mentioned. They need an upgrade desperately at wing

Myles seems like a really good move assuming off court stuff not an issue. Cam? Interesting but looking deeper into it I'm not as sure.

I mean, the guy was not a 10 ppg scorer even until age 25. Has only been a 13 ppg scorer for a good team one time and that was age 26. Okoro i still only 23 and never played on a bad team.

I'm pretty sure if you put Okoro on a bad team and told him he needs to score more he could get you 13 per to go along with his solid to elite defense. Seems like in those games Garland and Mitchell sat and he needed to score more he would go for 20+ or near 20.

He is demanding more than the MLE?

Melton just signed for it basically.
Never confirmed it, but someone I trust told me NY Times had an article saying his worth is $18-22 mil per.

I mean maybe, but not so sure.
