Whatever dude.

I am not in the business of predicting what players are going to do.

What I have said all along is that it is almost impossibly hard to build a contender in a small market.

That remains true.
not in business of predicting what players will do but took a victory lap for what happened with Klay and the Ws?

The dubs in 2027…is a long ways away

Could easily be similar to the pick they lost this year

Everyone thought the pick to dump iggy (which was stupid) was gonna be late first but it turned into a lotto pick
Pass.

Lawrence Frank clearly felt the same way.

I think it's clear the Warriors simply did not want Klay back at the cost it would take to keep him. They are betting that they can make the team better without him. Might be right too, it's really only sentimental value to keep him around. Good time for both sides to part ways, Klay is on a new contender and getting 'valued' and the Ws don't have to pay a guy some people describe as 'broken'

Dubs upgraded if both are healthy

And should be fired by now after that disastrous deal failed

Signing dunn and batum are the two best moves he’s made in years

Whcih is why they are where they are

Is a S and T a lock? First, not sure who has much more than the MLE to offer and if signing for MLE why would teams who have it available trade for him instead of just signing?

I say this understanding he might want more than MLE and maybe even a lot more so, yeah, could be a bidding war for him.
It looks like the Bees want to keep him.

But I’m sure they would consider it for a big offer.

Nobody else has said otherwise so I am not sure your point.
Like I said before, if you have a FO that shows a great player you are willing to build around him...small market does not matter. Never once said they had to stay for their entire career but extend or second contract...happens all the time. The small market teams that lose their big players is bc they are mismanaged. Bad hires, lousy FO, not enough supporting cast.

Lillard stayed for over 10 years in Portland bc for most years they gave him a chance to compete a pretty high level and they made moves to accommodate him.
It isn’t just mismanagement.

Management can do everything right and still not build a team good enough to win.

And then the star asks out anyway.

Clips might as well go do him after getting Porter jr

What other shoe?

At first I thought you were just having a general discussion on not taking your foot off the peddle just because you got a Dude signed.

I agree.

He could become disgruntled if the Knicks, Celtics, 7ers continually snuff his team.

But, this post kinda sounds like you are actually predicting him wanting out.

I don’t want to put words in your mouth.

But that’s how it looks.

No, not doing that.

They are excited their guy signed.

Fine.

Now what is the next step?

That core is not close to contending.

So where do they go from here?

So be it.

I’m not stumping for L Frank.

They rolled the dice on skipping steps and going all in.

It was a failed experiment.

It happens.

Compounding it by making short term, short sighted gains wasn’t going to save his ass if Ballmer wanted him gone.

Acquiring future draft capital is the opposite of short sighted

Losing your star for nothing to avoid one year of a higher tax bill is shortsighted

Not even in the same universe.

I don’t condone hitting women.

Bridges should not have put his hands on her.

But she is an insane piece of shit.

At least he learned and started filming her and calling the cops.

KPJ is Ray Rice level repulsive and does not deserve a second chance.

No EVER.

The Clippers are DISGUSTING.

not in business of predicting what players will do but took a victory lap for what happened with Klay and the Ws?

Wasn’t a prediction at all.

@Shanemansj13 said Klay wanted out because he was a diva and thought he was still a max player.

I said he wanted out because his feelings were hurt that the Warriors didn’t make it seem like they really wanted him.

He took less from another team because he felt disrespected by the Dubs.

Feelings hurt.

Then they should have just paid to keep the better player.

They didn’t want to do that.

So not hard to understand why they wouldn’t do it for that poo poo platter.

You can continue to type different variations of the same statement and I’m never going to agree with you on this.

They didn’t want to pay him long term.

They would’ve stayed in the tax if he just wanted to pick up his option and play the year out (like butler is doing)

I mean, it's tough to win a title but how do we know how close they are since so many of that core were hurt last season and missing Allen entire Cs series and Mitchell 2 games kind of hurt....but could still argue we played them as well or better than anyone.

Maybe they do what other teams do who took time to become legit title contenders? Hell, the Cs, Bucks, Philly and Denver were building around their star or stars since Lebron was still here. Many of their top players were in their prime seasons when they reached their peak. For us, only Mitchell has hit his prime among our best players.

But sure to be considered a legit contender we need to add someone who helps and not just keep what we have. Maybe we will?

so you predicted what a player will do after not saying you are in business of predicting what players will do. Like I said.

If I'm wrong my apologies but also think you predicted Mitchell would leave and not extend, didn't you? Not a guarantee maybe but was your opinion, no?

Well they just got a new coach so there is that. Developing Mobley bc JB did not do that.

They are going to give the new coach a chance with this group and if not, they will move Garland and/or Allen. So you might not think there is a plan but I am sure they have plan now, in one year and in two years. I think second tier in the east is close. They aren't a play-in team.
