Curry missed the first 2 rounds of the playoffs in 2016. And Klay had that huge 3rd quarter in game 6 against OKC.

They almost surely don’t make it past the 2nd round. They definitely don’t make the Finals in 2016 without Klay.

And if OKC does make the Finals, KD is much less likely to leave. And there is a pretty decent chance they would have beat Cleveland too

Get what you are saying but that's how free agency works. Pretty much everyone who is not elite or older and chasing a ring is overpaid. Not everyone but most. Often by a lot.

See, I think you see it a bit like I do.

I personally don’t believe anyone is ever entitled to anything. You have to earn everything that you get.

However, I can absolutely understand why Klay feels disrespected by the Dubs because of everything he gave the organization, and yes, his injuries too.

Not unlike Scottie Pippen, he is probably bitter that he isn’t treated the way that Curry is by the organization.

And I get it. Because Curry isn’t Curry without Klay.

Eh, like many I'm pretty sure how he is here is not how he is in real life. That's a big part of the appeal of this place. But yeah he was too aggro often.

I think he can bring some culture to the organization and I think overall he is a good leader but on the court, I lost faith in him. I figured Detroit would try to take a shot at a young coach that would implement an offensive strategy. Maybe there wasn’t much out there.

Not sure I lost faith in the sense a lot of our issues were the injuries. I mean, if you said I can have the coach of my choice and the same roster as last year with same injury issues or JB, same roster, everyone healthy I go with JB. Well, other than maybe Larry Brown and Spo.

But also no issue we are going a different direction. Still think the idea is keep the core 4 together, hope they stay healthy and see how they look healthy and with a different coach (easier than breaking them up first, I think).

Guess we'll see soon.
