I think he can bring some culture to the organization and I think overall he is a good leader but on the court, I lost faith in him. I figured Detroit would try to take a shot at a young coach that would implement an offensive strategy. Maybe there wasn’t much out there.

They have brought on a really good shot coach. Defense is probably their biggest issue.

Yeah hearing more and more about this. No specific packages but it sounds like they had a combination for LA to choose from.

Like I said, if they bring him back it was a bold move but they know more than us. Bringing him back helps them contend now. The package is nice but more built for the future with Kawhi just getting extended.

If they don’t bring back PG13. I have no clue what they are doing bc even Derozan isn’t winning them a title but would be an interesting acquisition nonethelesss

KCP is a luxury they really cannot afford.

He is better off going to a team that has a shot at getting past the playin or a true contender that needs some defense and shooting.

I gotta say, I like Paul George, I’ll like him even more when he leaves the Clippers… but no way in hell is he worth $50m+ a year.

Get what you are saying but that's how free agency works. Pretty much everyone who is not elite or older and chasing a ring is overpaid. Not everyone but most. Often by a lot.
