Just because he is a diva doesn’t mean he is a fool.

There is no chance he still thinks he is anywhere close to a max level player.
we don’t know the offer or years GS is offering. He must feel disrespected. Again, not surprising-huge ego. He does believe he is still elite, the way he has talked the last couple years

Could be worse.
I think he can bring some culture to the organization and I think overall he is a good leader but on the court, I lost faith in him. I figured Detroit would try to take a shot at a young coach that would implement an offensive strategy. Maybe there wasn’t much out there.

I am curious how many years he got

I agree he feels disrespected.

You are assuming that the reason is because he still believes himself as elite.

I disagree with that take.

I believe he feels entitled to a big thank you contract.

And most Warrior fans would have no issue with him getting it even though he it would be an awful investment from a production standpoint.

After the haul they have up.....a logical person would think that Clipps would want to try and keep PG.

SMH.

I think it is a combination of things, yes one of them he thinks he can play a high level. I think he wanted something reasonablee, doesn’t have to be big thank you $$

Messed up thinking, the thought should be how thankful he is he was allowed to be a part of it.

I’m not going to blame anyone for choosing not to pay guys beyond their prime.

Eh…

Not saying I think it is right to feel entitled to anything.

But 2 years of his prime robbed due to major injury, and 4 titles he brought to GS.

Personally, I get why he would feel disrespected by an offer around 20 million from the Warriors.

He helped bring those titles, nothing more.
