Blame kawhi. If I’m remembering correctly, I don’t think George really missed playoffs games. They make the finals a few years ago instead of Phoenix. PG understands he can’t be a 1 on a title contender. Got to respect his self awareness

That's got to be the most frustrating thing for the Clippers. When Kawhi was healthy and paired with George, regardless of who their other teammates were over the last 5 years, they were practically the best team in basketball. They won at a pace as good or above as the teams that won championships in that span. The problem was they could never go more than a 2 months stretch with both of them healthy (mostly Kawhi) and you need to be on the floor at the same time for 2 months in the playoffs.

Because….he’s a dick?

To be fair that covers a lot of us here so basically this entire forum shouldn’t exist…

The PF reffing is some bullshit. Worse than Kings Lakers

I don't understand what they are doing.

In the world of role players getting over 30m I can get betting on continued development at 18m

But yeah, he also blocks your most recent pick

All efforts. Take the minimum then

Not much difference to the roster if he takes the min or $30Mish. They'll still be over the cap and have the MLE either way.

If he's going to be stuck with an MLE range salary, why not his favorite team growing up and a likely starting SF spot? And he can be close to his father all season?

That said, I'll believe it when I see it. That's a big step down when Orlando is out there and give him substantially more if they see fit.

How about moving Reddish, Vincent, and Lewis' contracts via trade?

I imagine they will move some of those contracts since they can now aggregate salaries (which hard caps you at the 1st apron). Using the full MLE does that anyway.

I'd like to see DLo/Hayes and draft capital to the Nets for DFS and Sharpe. Follow that up with Rui/Lewis/draft capital to Utah for Sexton. Let's project Thompson for the MLE.

PG: Sexton, Vincent, JHS (Bronny)
SG: Reaves, Christie, Knecht
SF: Klay, Vando, Reddish
PF: Lebron, DFS
C: AD, Sharpe, Wood

Maybe Wood/Reddish get salary dumped with 2nds for highly protected future seconds (or cash), which then allows the Lakers to add new vet min guys (or maybe convert Castleton from a 2 way).

Looks like he and morey deserve each other

They have the same lack of belief in….the truth
To be fair, he did want to stay with the Clippers, but they so far won't give him his 4 year max.

No idea.

Redick wants AD at PF....from stuff I have read.
