Also never said they would win a title for sure but acting like there’s no way they win a title if they have a big 3 of Embiid, Maxey, and George is silly

This is a more natural fit imo than Harden for example. Signing George would jump them over the Knicks for me and put them as a likely top 4 team

That should be the plan but at this point he seems very unlucky too. I will say this if they limit his games and he can stay healthy in the playoffs they can contend with the best but I wouldn’t bet on it

Philly was a likely 2 seed before the Embiid injury. Don’t think it’s fair to say he won’t win

Of course, but the parallels to the Lakers now and what DJ was saying are too close to pass up. DJ probably thinks the Lakers are contenders when they are at best equal to the Sixers and not even that if the Sixers get PG.

And that was 4 years ago when LeBron hadn't yet started to decline really.
