The Blazers shouldn’t have to do any work.

Miami should.

Portland has him under contract for years.

You want him, work for it.

What they shouldn't have to do and what they should do, don't have to be the same thing.

The Heat should definitely have to do most of the heavy lifting, after all, they want him.

But it would be good optics for current and possible future Blazers players to see them doing some work to facilitate the trade. If nothing else, by being very direct (and realistic) about what they want in return.

Optics?

My Guy….

Top free agents aren’t signing in Portland.

Giving Dame away won’t make a difference.

They can only build through trades and the draft.

Dame is their one big chip.

You don’t give him away for pesos on the dollar because of optics.

He signed a contract.

He no longer wishes to honor the contract.

They are willing to move him.

But, on their terms not his.

This is Kevin Garnett to the Celtics.

Kawhi to Toronto.

Neither of those Dudes went where they wanted.

Why are the Thunder picking up yet another guard @thunderc ?

Gotta be a consolidation trade upcoming.

Has to be.
Honestly I’ve given up trying to figure it out. Having to be at 90 percent of cap to start the season instead of the last day of the season has changed things up.

Love it.

Young legs, high flyer, good motor, cheap contract.

But, again…..

On brand for the Clippers to pick up a guy the Season after he completely TORCHES us for a couple a games the Season before.
Could bump Morris out of the rotation....

Even if Olidipo had two working legs, Can’t see him nor Mills as more than locker room guys.

I want them to get Capela from the Hawks.

Dunno if this is true.

But, I did wonder why the Bucks decided to give him 20 mil per.

He probably went back to them with that offer and they matched.
Yeah he probably told them, I’m signing with Houston. MIL panicked and gave him the $24M/year. That makes sense
