I agree with this all.
He will be traded. Its just to the best trade the Blazers can get and not to just one target.

There are ways for them to do just that and still have him end up in Miami. It just depends on how much work the Blazers are willing to do to try to accommodate him.

It would be smart on their part to put real effort into getting him to Miami even if they ultimately end up sending him someplace else. It would let players know that even if things don't work out, they'll still at least try to take care of you.
