Truth. He made it clear to them since April that he doesn't want to play with young players and go through a rebuild. You had the 3rd pick and did nothing with it to encourage him to stay.
Let's quit acting like this is a James Harden/Kyrie Irving type of demand and yes I am talking to you @raptorlife4
To the question in there of what becomes of Okoro who knows at this point....but he's maybe better at SG either way (if he stays).Amico: Without a Doubt, Cavs Address Need of Forwards Who Can Shoot
AKRON, Ohio -- What becomes of Isaac Okoro? That was actually my first question after I had learned the Cavs acquired small forward Max Strus in a three-team trade with the Heat -- which senthoopswire.com
good Cavs article.
what they needed was a couple guys that could hit open 3's, and they got them. Should hopefully help a lot.
They are going to have to lower their expectations. My guess is the Blazers would want more than just Brown in return for Dame. Asking price for a 30+ year old might be a bit too much. No thanks.
Ok do he can and will be traded. However demanding 1 team is unprofessional and not realistic. Portland has a duty and right to make a trade that best suits them
Portland also stuck by him for 11 years and he didnt do squat
Why?They are going to have to lower their expectations.
A lot of them...but Portland also wants a nice young player or 2 also. Gotta match salaries.Ainge has picks baby!
No one said it is. We are questioning what right he has to say only trade me to one team. He never won a ring there. He never even made the Finals. You’re talking about this dude like he actually delivered something. And even if he did what right does he have to say to the franchise he’s leaving don’t take the best offer. Take the worst offer because it’s what I want.He made it clear to them since April that he doesn't want to play with young players and go through a rebuild. Ok so by your own logic Portland has been successful with DameHe got them to their only conference finals since 2000 with a team that on paper wasn't good enough to get there.
He didn't do squat? Are you dumb?
That's like saying DeRozan and Lowry didn't do anything together when they were making deep runs and had a conference finals appearance.
Winning a title isn't the only way to be successful in this league
That was a while ago....LOL.Ok so by your own logic Portland has been successful with Dame
So what is he talking about then
I guess what matters most are the wishes of the player who is leaving and not the fans who have been there before Dame got there and will still be there after he leaves. They don’t matter. The Trailblazers don’t have an obligation to them to get the best deal. They have an obligation to Dame to take the worst deal.Ok do he can and will be traded. If teams are forced to do this to not "spit in the face" of a player we might as well make it a 8 team leagueI guess what matters most are the wishes of the player who is leaving and not the fans who have been there before Dame got there and will still be there after he leaves. Last few years been rocky but prior to 2020, they were successful based on the roster they had. He wants to play on a team with another top 25ish type of player as he feels like that's all he would need to make a run at a title which is why he didn't want them to use their 3rd pick in the draft. If they acquired Siakam for example, he would have been content and trade request wouldn't happen.Ok so by your own logic Portland has been successful with Dame

Your team could learn a thing or 2 about not letting guys walk for nothing....If teams are forced to do this to not "spit in the face" of a player we might as well make it a 8 team league
It was someone else and I hadn't seen it when I posted the same thing....but OK.You posted that same thing yesterday or the day before.
Not sure what you're talking about but thw Raptors are and will be just fineYour team could learn a thing or 2 about not letting guys walk for nothing....
I hear you. He wants out. The team will trade him . However they have every right to get the best deal for Portland.Last few years been rocky but prior to 2020, they were successful based on the roster they had.
