You mean if Portland decides against fucking themselves and leaving meat on the bone in dealing the franchises best asset over the last decade. I love the mindset of fans from the “spoiled franchises”.
As i said before, no team is going to give them a star player except boston. It's going to be young players and draft picks. They can fuck over Dame if they wish but agents will be around long after dame isn't playing this game and won't forget spitting in the face of the best player in franchise history. They are already not a free agency destination but good luck getting anyone great to stay long term in the future if you screw this up. Get a 3rd team involved and grant Dame his wish. He didnt have to stay with this shitty franchise for all these years.

Oh....didn't think he mentioned a team. Thought he was really vague.
Mentioned team and really vague.....and so far nothing happened to substantiate him.

Develop into what exactly? He played amazing in the playoffs. I think we saw the best Martin, if he can continue to be that guy, sure that helps but it’s not like his ceiling is going up. W/o a Dame trade they are a top 4-5 team in the east. With Dame, they would be #1 or #2 and a clear championship contender. I think they NEED this move with Butler being 34 and a couple more years of prime Jimmy. The time is now
Oh....I agree....they should.

And expiring contracts as well. But let’s be real every team out there can best what Miami has to offer. Every one. I get why you want Portland to fuck themselves.

Bwahahaha! A basketball player has a right to say I want this team and this team only and take back less than for it to happen? Ok.

This isn’t spitting in anyone’s face. That’s fucked up. I get it. You’re a fan. “Spitting in his face”? Da fuq?
They are already not a free agency destination but good luck getting anyone greay to stay long term in the future if you screw this up
Nah. This is scare tactics bull shit. If that’s where the money is that’s where someone will go.

Who is the last big named free agent they signed? They are in the same position as other smaller market teams are in

Spitting in the face? Dont get this
He has made hundreds of millions of dollars
Behavior like this and demands like this are ruining parity
You never see this in the nfl

Dame been in Portland for 11 years. What have they done to surround him with any real talent?

All they did was lose key free agents from Wes Matthews to LA to Batum

Had a chance to trade the 3rd pick this year to show him they are serious about going for it and they dropped the ball

How is that changing after sucking Dame’s dick? It’s not.

The salary cap means every off season there’s on average 3-4 teams that aren’t handcuffed. There are only 3-4 franchises that are actual FA destinations and then there’s everybody else.

Why are you deflecting though?

Why do you think Dame has earned the right to say Portland do my bidding even if that means that you take the worst available deal on the table.

He made it clear to them since April that he doesn't want to play with young players and go through a rebuild. You had the 3rd pick and did nothing with it to encourage him to stay.

Let's quit acting like this is a James Harden/Kyrie Irving type of demand and yes I am talking to you @raptorlife4

Ok do he can and will be traded. However demanding 1 team is unprofessional and not realistic. Portland has a duty and right to make a trade that best suits them

Portland also stuck by him for 11 years and he didnt do squat

He’s not thinking rationally because he wants the player and he knows his franchise has limited picks and not the roster to get it done unless the Trailblazers bend over for Dame and are willing to take the worst deal on the table.
