The point being if you look at our drafts after proclaiming ourselves as always drafting BPA we pretty much go according to need unless a huge value presents itself (CeeDee) and this tweet is based on who we talk to, not just someone's opinion about what they think we may do..

I can't think of the last time Dallas wasn't in need of a position other than QB and RB, meaning BPA was also a need.

An argument could be made they didn’t take the BPA per US, but we really don't know how the team thought about each. We do know Jerry always said the guy they took was a round better in their rankings.

I wasn't sold on either. I was afraid TJ was over-rated due to his name.

we have honestly done pretty well in the draft, but we have had some head scratchers.
Taco definitely was one of those.

Gavin Escabor, Kelvin Jospeph, Connor Williams, Randy Gregory, Jaylon Smith. You come on!! LOL. We have drafted pretty good, but too many second round reaches. Gregory did not perform up to second round selection. Connor William?? LOL

I cant say I was screaming for TJ Watt. It was literally just name recognition to me. But I was puzzled with the Taco pick nonetheless & I wanted us to draft DL.
The hindsight is just horrible knowing we shouldnt have taken Taco & then play the What if game.
