I like 9 mile a year for a guy/possition like pollard. 18 sounds like a lot guaranteed.

I just hate the bidding wars out in the open. Makes me hate on one side or the other. A ton of my dislike for zeke was about him and his contract. I get it from a player perspective but it fucks with my game and pisses me off. I got over it with Emmitt

Depends how it is structured. Most likely it will be backloaded for cap purposes. Assuming they don’t use dead years to split the bonuses (they likely will which pushes more dead money back) If it’s for example a $12M SB, a $1M guaranteed first year salary and a $5M year two guaranteed roster bonus and then non-guaranteed $2M year two salary and a $7M year three salary that’s $18M guaranteed. It’s also going to have a year 3 dead money value of $6.5M. if the bonuses are split over 5 years after year two it’s still $11M in dead money.
