Just a thought, don't tear my head off.

Bill has $68.8M to spend and the 2023 cap hasn't been set, and he hasn't trimmed any fat.

If he could land OT Orlando Brown for 3/$65M, would you be happy or pissed?

If he did land Brown and could keep Trent Brown at RT, then the line would be:

O Brown (LT) Strange (LG) Andrews? (C) Owneue (RG) T Brown (RT) ========= Good Enough?

Now BB could play around, maybe make a deal and move up and snag Mayer.

Spending a shitload for OB would just open the flood gates. Even if he offered him $25M I would be estatic.

I'd offer Jarvis Landry 3/$45M and Bill would still have $23M

So go for the jugular and offer Patrick Peterson 3/$54M

Bank the remaining 5 and any cap extra.

All of sudden go from also ran to running toward the front.
As long as we can draft someone named Jones...

DAWAND JONES
6'8" - 360

How old is Peterson?

sounds good

20. CB JAYLON JONES, TEXAS A&M

One of the biggest risers this season, Jones has shown a very mature playstyle through 10 weeks. He’s allowed only six catches on 11 targets for 72 yards. At 6-foot-2, 205 pounds, he has ideal size for the position in the NFL.

Orlando Brown will be hard to tear away from KC but throw him an offer.
Landry and Peterson can join mom in the assisted living home.....

He would eat a large chunk of the cap space would he not?

Reb loves Mayer who's a Junior and has declared for the 2023 NFL Draft. More are declaring daily. Sophomores kinda scare me.

Anyone hot on any of these underclassmen? Quentin Johnson WR TCU?

Well I am a huge ND fan so I just happen to spot him early. BB usually avoids underclassman I thought, but I guess there are acceptions to every rule. All depends on what OTs are on the board at the time IMO

So if at 14 there is not a top 3 OT available what would you prefer the Pats do.

1. Draft position of need at another position? What position would you draft?

2. Trade down pick up more draft capital?

OT or TE.
Our 2 biggest needs IMHO.
Unless there is an absolute freak for any other position that has fallen.

When outstanding underclassmen declare and are available, it can really make the draft a total mystery from pick to pick.

The Stanford QB, a junior has declared. He's 6'6" and might be someone who just needs a bit of real coaching to become a top ten. He's not afraid to take off and run. I can't remember his name. He's not my guy in Round 1 thru 4, but I'd grab him if he was still sitting home in the 5th.

If you have 2 TE's you don't have any?
I tend to be patient and I'm not thrilled at either TE coming back at same price.

If Parrish is not available at #14 it depends on what value is left.
If the next best OT is available at #20, trade down?
