I am not saying 4 or 5 will go first round only that their may be enough talented OTs should the need be there for a team. My concern is our need for an OT vs our draft position round two.Not sure who they have on staff. It won't be Patricia. Maybe whomever they bring in? BB has had good luck drafting and finding FA Olinemen. Was it Ernie, Scar, Josh? Maybe a combo of them all?
The combine showcases athleticism. Sure it give the evaluators something else to use in their evaluation, but it doesn't hold as much weight as their collegiate career. They aren't skilled position players.
We can agree to disagree on how many OTs will go first round. I, and most pundints think 3 or less. I think maybe 2? It's just a weak class. That doesn't mean one or two mid to late rounders won't become all pros.
If I'm the GM and either Paris or Skoronski are already gone, I'm not using #14 on anyone else. Find one in FA and take a few mid round flyers.
